Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it. I wanted to dress the woman who lives and works, not the woman in a painting. I get ideas about what's essential when packing my suitcase. I love things that age well - things that don't date, that stand the test of time and that become living examples of the absolute best. I think there is something about luxury - it's not something people need, but it's what they want. It really pulls at their heart.

If you wear clothes that don't suit you, you're a fashion victim. You have to wear clothes that make you look better. In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.
